Throughout this memorable cruise, you'll pass extraordinary natural scenery, beautiful historic Raspberry and Devils Island Lighthouses, standing rocks, extensive sea caves and marine wildlife. Learn the rich history of centuries of human interaction with Wisconsin's "Crown Jewels" on majestic Lake Superior. Approx. 3-1/4 hours.

Sunset Cruise on Lake Superior

EVENING GRAND TOUR

Enjoy the cruise as the afternoon sunlight dramatically enhances viewing of the scenic features at the light stations at Devils Island and Raspberry Island. View the sea caves and Lake Superior's water in shimmery late day sun. This cruise lasts approximately 3-1/4 hours and will show you the islands in their quiet beauty.

Visit an Island Aboard ASHLAND BAYFIELD EXPRESS

FEE: RASPBERRY ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE TOURS - Park Service Interpretive fees apply to joining all ranger-led lightstation tours. Standard fees of $3.00 per individual, $8.00 per family. Discounts for holders of the Interagency Senior and Access passes. Fee envelopes for payment to the National Park can be placed in deposit box on island. No fee for people not joining the lightstation tour.

Historic Great Lakes Lighthouse Tours

RASPBERRY IS. LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER'S TOUR

Lighthouse Keepers and their families made the Raspberry Island lighthouse their home from 1863 to 1947. The lighthouse reopened in 2007, after an extensive restoration project. A tour of the lighthouse, named "The Showplace of the Apostle Islands," gives insight into the lives of those who lived and worked in this secluded setting of unparalled natural beauty. Additional fee for lighthouse tour (see above) and you spend 2 hours on island.

OVERNIGHT CAMPING ON OAK ISLAND SHUTTLE

For those looking to camp overnight on Oak Island, this tour will make a stop at Oak Island for a drop-off/pick-up of campers.

STOCKTON ISLAND DAYHIKER

Hike the varied landscapes and roam the white sand beaches on Stockton Island. The island’s beauty has long been a refreshing favorite for hiking, picnicking, birdwatching, swimming and beachcombing. Dayhikers can enjoy 2 hours to explore groomed trails leading from a visitors' center to Julian Bay lagoon and the most beautiful scenic beaches in the islands.

Camping and Kayaking at the Apostle Islands

OVERNIGHT CAMPING ON STOCKTON ISLAND SHUTTLE

Stockton Island is home to the Park's largest campground with 15 miles of trails to explore leading through forests to bogs, "singing sand" beaches, sandstone cliffs and brownstone quarries. The island offers waterfront, group and individual campsites.
A kayaker's best base camp to access the northeast side of Stockton Island, traverse to Michigan and Outer Islands.
