radar, sonar and all required safety equipment, and are inspected annually
by the U.S. Coast Guard. Our Captains are experienced with thousands of
miles of safe piloting, and licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. Courteous
crew members will assist to make your Lake Superior-Apostle Islands
experience memorable. *All portions of our cruises are "weather permitting," relying on the experienced prudence of your Captain. *Island Shuttles unable to land at an island due to waves and weather refund ticket holders 1/3 the total fare. *Scheduled cruise return times may vary due to number of passenger and lake conditions. *For your comfort, all cruise boats have clean restrooms, snacks and beverages. *Bring your camera for photo countless opportunities, including scenic vistas and wildlife. *Sorry - no pets are allowed on public transportation. *Sales tax of 6% will be charged. *Children ticket price for ages 6-12; we must be informed if children younger than 6 are to be passengers. *Reservations are advised; held to 1/2 hour before departure. Individual reservations require credit card payment when making reservation. We accept Visa & MasterCard. *Upper Deck passenger capacities are limited. Seats are given on a first come, first served basis. *The Lower Deck of Island Princess is handicapped accessible. *Canoe/kayak transport - $20.00 handling fee. *Cruises run rain or shine - lower decks of cruise boats are enclosed. *Apostle Islands Cruise Service is authorized by the National Park Service and the Department of Interior, to serve the public within Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. *The Homeland Security Act of 2002 may require screening/examination of persons, baggage and carry-on items for the protection of the vessel, its passengers and crew. |
